About SAD, or Seasonal Affective Disorder: Science tells us that a lack of light (or exposure to the UV rays) causes our bodies to produce melatonin, which is a hormone that makes you want to sleep.
In winter, it’s obviously cooler, and the days are significantly shorter. As a result, some people begin to experience reduced energy, and even depression. It has been proven that reduced exposure to light causes the pineal gland to produce a hormone (melatonin) that causes one to want to sleep. When one asks, ‘what is the best indoor tanning lotion?’ The automatic reply is never a particular tanning bed lotion because it all depends upon ones skin type, tanning experience, and preferences.
For example, a person who has not tanned in a while should not use a lotion that intensifies the tan, or has tingle in it.

However, a new tanner can use a lotion with bronzer in it. I would stick to a regular tanning bed lotion and then move up to a bronzer, but that’s my preference.
Experienced tanners are always looking for the best indoor tanning lotion that gets them even darker than before.
In either case, the best indoor tanning lotion will come from a good manufacturer of tanning bed lotions. And my recommendation is California Tan. I particularly like the X-Power and CT lines. X-Power has been around for a long time. CT. [click to continue…]
